HP TouchSmart IQ800 Series
$1,249.00
Released September, 2008
The Pros:Good distinction between models and fair price increase (external drive, improved graphics, Blu-ray drive). Awesomely large touchscreen. Good hardware and monitor for full high definition content.
The Cons:Such a large touchscreen is cool, but not functional (especially if you mount it!). The cost of a Mac without the superior design, finesse, or high end software. Copying a mac hardly makes it a "fresh take".
Introduced in the middle of September 2008, the HP Touchsmart IQ800 Series is a high end series of media-centric PCs, intigrated into large 25.5" high definition, wall-mountable touchscreen monitors.

#hp_touchsmart_iq800_series Freezes all the time. Poor HP customer service, they do not want to replace the computer. They could not fix on going same problem for 7 times. In 40 days I was able to use the machine just for 4 days. Tons of customers have the same freezing problems. Check out HP IQ 816 problems keyword.
