HP TouchSmart IQ527

$1,599.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Includes a full range of accessories such as keyboard, mouse, and remote for the TV/media functions. HP's touch optimised user interface is intuitive, much better than what Windows Vista has to offer. Offers a range of input options such as USB, firwire, optical audio, S-video, and 5 in 1 media card reader.

The Cons:The custom user interface from HP paired with Windows Vista can cause sluggish performance sometimes. Screen lacks adjustment options, it does not provide much room for tilting, nor the option to wall mount. Too much bloatware pre-installed, removing those will improve general performance and start up time.

The HP TouchSmart IQ527 is an all-in-one PC from HP's TouchSmart IQ520 Series.  The system features a 2.2GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 640GB hard drive.  It also has an integrated NVIDIA GeForce HD graphics module with 256MB of dedicated memory and has a hideaway bay for easily storing the wireless keyboard.
