Averatec D1130 Series

$550.00 Released October, 2009

Product Shot 1The Averatec D1130 Series represents a set of entry-level, all-in-one nettop PCs released in late 2009. Featured is a weak 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of memory, and a 160GB hard drive. Overall, the D1130 is extremely unimpressive, save for its decently sized 18.4” display, which coincidentally offers a wide range of vertical motion.

Product Shot 2 Included are integrated graphics and audio; in fact, critics decry the D1130’s ridiculously low volume, and recommend users seek external speakers. Other specifications are also just as meager: Wireless-G connectivity, standard Ethernet, a 4-in-1 card reader, etc. The only thing redeeming about the unit is its ports: five USB, one VGA, and of course, headphone and microphone jacks.

Additional Information

If you want a bigger system, consider the D1205. But if you are short on cash, then check out the D1133 instead.
