Asus Eee Top ET2002

$600.00 Released October, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Simple enough to use for people who are not tech-savvy. Small footprint, good for compact spaces. Display is large and clear, makes text easy to read.

The Cons:Speed and power aren't as good as normal desktop machines, some lag is noticeable. Inadequate for games in general, lag is too severe. Standard model can't handle Blu-ray discs.

The Asus Eee Top ET2002 is one of three all-in-one Eee Top desktops released by Asus in late 2009. It features an Intel Atom 330 (1.6GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 Cache) processor, 2GB of DDR2-00 RAM (expandable to 4GB), and a 320GB SATA-II hard-disc drive (expandable to 500GB).

More importantly, the ET2002 is the first Eee Top desktop to incorporate nVidia’s Ion platform, as well as an nVidia GeForce 9400 IGP graphics card. In fact, the ET2002 can be used as a standalone monitor with the included ability to connect to an HDMI-equipped gaming unit such as a PS3 or Xbox 360. Like its peers, it comes with everything needed to get up and running: a keyboard, mouse, 20" touch-screen display, and of course, built-in wired/wireless networking. But included also is a 3-in-1 card reader and an integrated CD/DVD burner.
